Our apartment "Torre Family" is located on the first floor of Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi (no lift). In the accomodation there are other steps and stairs. One of the four bedrooms and the tower/terrace are situated on the second and third floor, both reachable by a vertical and a semivertical stairs.
Smooking is allowed only outside the building.
The heating is available during wintertime and/or upon request:
35 euro per night, to be calculated separately, to add the the reservation amount.
Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi accomodations are right in the heart of Certaldo's hilltop medieval town. It is a restricted traffic area but all our guests can easiky drive in by your own car and use the private Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi's parking, right in front of your accomodation.
Certaldo's medieval village is always a very peaceful and quiet place and a few steps from your accomodation you will find typical restaurants, pizzerias, wine shops, ice cream shop, atm, panoramic areas, museums (Boccaccio's house, the Town Hall, the Augustinian Church, Beppe Chiodo's museum, SS. Jacopo and Filippo Church.
Certaldo's down town area and the train station are on a walking distance from Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi, reachable also by car, taxi or by cablecar.
BY CAR
Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi is easy reachable by your own car. It is located in the heart of Certaldo's medieval hilltop town (restricted traffic area) but all our guests can drive in and use our private parking, just in front of the accomodations. We just remind that in during festivals and events it may be required to use the town parking just outside the village, a few steps from Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi.
BY TRAIN AND CABLECAR
You can reach Palazzo Stiozzi Ridolfi by train as well! Certaldo's train station is situated in the down-town area, a few meters from the main Certaldo's square (Piazza Boccaccio) where you can find the cablecar station which connects Certaldo down town and Certaldo hilltop town every 15 minutes all day long (please, check the seasonal schedules).
The way from Certaldo down-town and Certaldo hilltop town is also walkable on foot (7 /8 minutes walking).
RENTAL CAR
Rental car/minivan available in town with delivery and pick up service on your doorstep (car/minivan reservation required in advance).
All our guests can easily drive in the restricted traffic area during their whole stay and use our private parking, right in front of the accomodations.
BY TAXI
